François Roux initially approached photography as a hobby:
In 1991, he travelled to New York for the first time. He was immediately captivated by the city, and decided to settle there.
Over the last ten years, he has travelled back and forth to France, where his favourite territories are the urban landscapes and architecture of Paris, and the great natural spaces of the Southern Alps, mainly in the Hautes-Alpes and Alpes de Haute Provence.
